H.E.L.P. International was founded in January, 1994 by Len and Lori Rutten. Currently the leadership of H.E.L.P. International has been passed to Graydon and Sue Bishop, who, after living in South Africa for 6 years, have returned to oversee the projects from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
H.E.L.P. International is run on the donations of people in the public who would like to help. From time to time, people also like to give of their time, and on many occasions, individuals or groups have been sent from Canada and the United States to give of their time and effort in developing nations under the guidance and support of H.E.L.P. International.
At H.E.L.P. International, we commit to ensure that 95% of all donated funds go directly towards helping the projects that we carry forth in developing nations. Administrative costs are kept low by the help of volunteers.
**We are a registered Canadian Charity (#89317 7568 RR0001).
**Tax receipts are issued once a year, at the end of each year, for all donations received.
